My room was beautifully decorated, with cozy armchairs by the bay window and a great selection of toiletries in the bathroom. The meals were really good, especially breakfast, which featured high-quality ingredients. The scenic views from the dining area enhanced the overall experience, making it a good getaway.

central location near scarborough castle and gardens

Staying here allowed me to easily visit scarborough castle, just over 2 km away, and enjoy a peaceful stroll through shuttleworth gardens, less than a kilometer from the hotel. Plus, the cozy single room I had was spotlessly clean and offered a great view of the surroundings.

Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast that set a positive tone for the day. The ambiance made my experience nice.

I did notice the bathroom had minimal toiletries available, which was a slight inconvenience for an otherwise perfect stay. Nonetheless, this minor issue did not detract from my overall enjoyment.

The staff were accommodating, particularly regarding my gluten allergy—they remembered my needs without hesitation. The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed quiet nights and beautiful sea views. The location was perfect, just a short walk from nearby attractions like Scarborough Castle and the Spa. We felt safe and welcomed, making it an ideal getaway.

Had an amazing getaway with friends! We explored the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and hiked some fine trails. The location was perfect, with great views and easy access to local attractions. The food was good, and the staff were super friendly. Just a tip, the showers can be a bit tight in some rooms, so check ahead.

The shower in our room was quite small, making it difficult to use comfortably, especially after a long day of hiking.
